Prime Minister Imran Khan and his cabinet members have deliberated upon the introduction of electronic voting machine (EVM) and ECP concerns.
The ministers heaped praise on the ECP and chief election commissioner as the premier inquired about electoral body’s response, sources said, adding that Shibli Faraz, Azam Swati and other ministers lauded the commissioner.
“We have written a letter to the ECP last week, the science and technology minister said, adding that the government assured the ECP of providing all-out support for the purpose.

Aminul Haq briefed the participants of the meeting about the progress while the ministers point to finishing the task at the earliest and laid stress for setting a deadline for the purpose.
