Pakistan Muslim League (PML-Q) leader Moonis Elahi has reiterated that there would be no delay in dissolving the Punjab Assembly (PA) once PTI chief Imran gave the call, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The statement came after Moonis Elahi called on Imran at his Zaman Park residence in Lahore on Wednesday.
In the meeting, Imran Khan apprised Moonis Elahi about the PTI’s consultative session with lawmakers from Central Punjab and Lahore, the sources said.
PTI chief also took the PML-Q leader into confidence on the decisions taken in today's meeting. Imran Khan said that he would announce the dissolution of the Punjab assembly in a few days. Moonis Elahi acknowledged that they would oblige to his instructions immediately.
It is pertinent that Elahi is in power in Punjab due to the support of PTI, whose chairman Imran Khan has announced plans to “quit the corrupt system and leave all the assemblies”.
