Electricity is likely to become more expensive for the people of Karachi as the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) will hold a public hearing on the government's application for a K-electric tariff on December 20.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, NEPRA will hold a public hearing on Quarterly Tariff Adjustment (QTA) applications for the second and third quarters of the fiscal year 2023.
As per the channel report, the Ministry of Power has requested an increase in QTA for K-Electric by Rs 0.47 per unit for the second quarters and Rs 1.25 per unit for the third quarters of FY23.
