The Education Department of Balochistan on Saturday issued a notification regarding long winter vacations in cold areas and small number of vacations in warm areas where all educational institutions will shut from December 16, 2024, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
As per notification, winter vacation will start from December 16, 2024 till February 28, 2025 (65 days) in all educational institutions located in cold areas of Balochistan.
Winter vacations will be observed from January 1, 2025 to January 10, 2025 in warm areas of the province.
Earlier on November 25, 2024, the Punjab Education Department has announced winter vacations in private and government schools across the province.
Secretary Schools Punjab Khalid Nazir Wattoo has said that the winter vacations will begin from December 20 next month and will continue till January 10, 2025.
The Secretary Schools said that all schools will have 20 days of winter vacations.
