Good news for those performing Umrah as the government of Saudi Arabia has allowed those visiting the kingdom on Umrah visa to arrive or depart from any airport of the country, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
In this connection, the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) has issued a notification.
Making it mandatory for all the airlines to comply with the new directives, Saudi aviation has also announced that strict action will be taken against the airlines found violating these instructions.
Before that, those visiting the kingdom for performing Umrah used Medina or Jeddah airports for their arrival and departure.
