Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leadership Tuesday criticized the judiciary and government for their alleged bias and manipulation in the 190 million Pounds case, reported 24NJewsHD TV channel.

Addressing the media outside Adiala Jail after meeting with PTI founder Imran Khan, senior lawyer Shoaib Shaheen highlighted the former prime minister’s concerns regarding the fairness of the judicial system.

Shaheen stated, "The Al-Qadir Trust case raises significant questions. Why has there been no accountability for the alleged 9 billion rupees in bribes taken by Nawaz Sharif from Malik Riaz?"

He condemned the early morning court proceedings, alleging that they were conducted to bypass due process.

"The hearing was scheduled for 11 a.m., but the judge concluded the matter at 8:30 am and left before our legal team arrived," he claimed.

Referring to the arrest of Imran Khan on August 5 under the orders of Judge Humayun Dilawar, Shaheen questioned the fairness of the proceedings, asking, "Was Imran Khan even present in court that day?

Aleema Khan, sister of PTI Chairman Imran Khan, raised critical questions about the ongoing legal actions against the former prime minister.

She defended her brother, accusing the government of targeting him unfairly while ignoring genuine accountability of other political figures.

"Today, the Chairman has posed a crucial question: Why is he being punished in a case that lacks merit?"

Referring to the allegations of corruption, she pointed out that the UK’s National Crime Agency (NCA) had already declared that the funds in question were neither stolen money nor laundered.

"The NCA confirmed that the money in question was part of a deal with a property tycoon, who had given a bribe to Hassan Nawaz. Nawaz Sharif must answer why this bribe was accepted," she added.

Aleema Khan also alleged that the facilitation of the penalty paid by the property tycoon was done by Asif Zardari, not Imran Khan.

"Despite this, Imran Khan is being targeted for creating an institution where the life of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is taught," she claimed.

PTI leader Zartaj Gul accused the government of political suppression, unfair treatment of PTI members, and a biased crackdown on dissenting voices.

He criticized the lack of democracy in Parliament, stating that PTI members are not even allowed to speak on points of order.

She accused the government of using media blackouts to suppress their narrative, particularly when Imran Khan’s images or related discussions are brought forward.

Referring to recent incidents, Gul stated, "When our MNA from Kurram sought the floor, he was denied.  "Our MNAs are being branded as terrorists, and their lives have been made miserable.

Sunni Itehad Council head Sahibzada Hamid Raza expressed concerns about the ongoing detention of Senator Ejaz Chaudhry.

He revealed that PTI leaders had repeatedly written to authorities for permission to meet him but were being ignored.

"On January 8, our request to meet Ejaz Chaudhry was denied. We have now submitted another request for January 15 and hope it will be honored," he said.

Raza further mocked government officials, suggesting they inspect the Al-Qadir University’s operations to verify if it operates on merit rather than baseless allegations.

PTI lawyer Faisal Chaudhry highlighted the ongoing challenges faced by former prime minister Imran Khan, Bushra Bibi, and the PTI.

Chaudhry alleged that a series of politically motivated and baseless cases, including the Toshakhana II case, have been filed against them, calling for an immediate halt to the trial.

"The Toshakhana II case has no element of criminality in it. This is purely a political vendetta," he stated.

He criticized the conduct of accountability court judges in 190 million case, alleging that fair trial procedures are being ignored.

He alleged the judge reportedly left the court without waiting for the defense team.

"The court never starts trials before 11:30 am, yet we were informed at 9:00 am that the judge was already present.

Despite this, the judge left without considering that legal representation had not arrived," Chaudhry said, refuting claims that the court had waited for hours.

Discussing the 190-million-pound reference case, Chaudhry argued that it lacked legal merit and questioned the involvement of government figures. He raised concerns over a questionable property transaction by Nawaz Sharif’s son, Hassan Nawaz, saying, "Why was a property worth 9 billion rupees sold for 18 billion? And why did Hassan Nawaz take an additional 9 billion? These are questions that the ruling party must answer."
