Senator Moula Bakhsh Chandio, central information secretary of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), has said that Prime Minister Imran Khan thinks of himself as a general without uniform.

Adressing a press conference in Islamabad with Sindh Assembly Member Lal Chand Okhrani and Nazir Dhoki on Tuesday, Senator Chandio said that PPP has seen governments of dictators like Ayub Khan, General Zia and General Musharraf, but this is a unique government.

He said that people used to notice previous governments, but nobody heeds to this government. All flour thieves, sugar thieves and petrol thieves are sitting with Imran Khan. The biggest sugar thief has fled the country, he said.

The PPPP central information secretary said that all people who Imran Khan had called thieves are now in the government. “The prices of medicines have gone up and the patients are forced to buy expensive medicines. This is the first government which has added a single penny to the salaries of government employees. People in Punjab are committing suicides due to unemployment under a government, which promised 10 million jobs,” he said.

Senator Chandio said Prime Minister Imran Khan does not have moral courage to respond to PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. “Federal ministers are busy in minting money and paying Imran Khan his share in this loot and plunder. The ministers who talk about the 18th Amendment every day are afraid of people. The people who used to support Imran Khan and his policies are now reluctant to support him. Every day under Imran Khan is destructive for this country. Now, people will support PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Imran Khan will have to deal with people of Pakistan. The days of PTI government are numbered,” he said.
