Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) leader Moonis Elahi on Tuesday said that the government should take immediate steps to provide subsidy and interest-free loans to farmers who are the first line of defence in the COVID-19, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Moonis Elahi in a tweet said, “Our first line of defence in the corona crisis is our farmers and the government should provide immediate subsidy and interest-free loans to farmers for seeds, fertilizers, medicines, diesel, electricity, agricultural equipment and solar tube wells.”

The PML-Q leader said, “Everything can be tolerated, not hunger.”
