In response to an emergency call, the Morgah police of Rawapindi district of Punjab arrested a suspected robber, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported on Tuesday. 

A citizen phoned the police and told the lawmen that three gunmen robbed him of two lakh rupees and fled.

The Morgah police responded quickly and arrested one of a suspected robbers after an exchange of fires.

The arrested, identified as Yousaf, sustained wounds and was shifted to a hospital,

The police recovered the booty, arms and ammunition from the arrested. 

The lawmen also confiscate his motorcycle and intensified security in the area.

A hunt for the runaway robbers is on while the high-up praised the team for showing bravery.
