The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) arrested PTI founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi moments after their release from Adiala Jail in Iddat case on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
A NAB team, headed by Deputy Director Mohsin Haroon, arrested them in a fresh Toshakhana case. NAB claimed that Bushra Bibi and Imran Khan obtained gifts from Toshakhana at a nominal rate and sold them in the market at a high price when Imran Khan was the prime minister.
Earlier in the day, an Islamabad court overturned the conviction of PTI founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi in the Iddat case.
Pronouncing his decision reserved earlier on Saturday, Additional Sessions Judge Muhammad Afzal Majoka aquitted the former prime minister and the former first lady in the Iddat case, setting aside their seven-year each sentences.. The court, in its verdict, remarked that Imran Khan and his wife should be immediately released if they are not wanted in any other case.
After accepting their appeals, the judge ruled: “If they are not wanted in any other case, then PTI founder Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi should be released immediately.”
"Both the petitions seeking the formation of a medical board and consultations with the religious scholars are hereby rejected," the verdict stated.
The court has also issued release orders (robkar) for the incarcerated couple, though Imran Khan remains jailed over allegations of inciting riots.

The investigating officers of 9 cases registered in Lahore also reached Adiala Jail, The Lahore Police team headed by SP reached Adiala Jail. The Lahore Police team reached Adiala Jail after obtaining permission from the Rawalpindi Anti-Terrorism Court. There is a possibility that Imran Khan will be arrested by Lahore Police.
On July 9, the Anti-Terrorism Court of Lahore rejected the interim bail of former Prime Minister Imran Khan in three cases of May 9. Sources said that the police did not arrest Imran Khan after the cancellation of interim bails in May 9 cases.
PTI workers started reaching Adiala Jail who are being stopped at gate number one of the jail.
The security arrangements around the jail remained on high alert as a heavy contingent of police have reached Adiala Jail gate No 5 and a number of Elite Force vehicles were parked at the entrance of the jail.
