A woman shot dead the second wife of her husband and then committed suicide in the Sheikhupura District of Punjab on Saturday.

According to the police, the husband of the woman had married another woman secretly. As soon as she came to know about her husband’s second marriage, she went to his second wife’s house and opened fire at her. The victim died at the scene.

The accused woman later shot herself in the head and died at the scene. Bodies of both women were shifted to a hospital for medico-legal formalities.
