Defence Minister says a person is challenging writ of state

Federal Minister for Defence Khawaja Asif on Wednesday address the national assembly and said that there was a coup on May 9 and a person is challenging the writ of the state despite the fact that no one has challenged the state in the past.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, Khawaja Asif participating in the budget debate in the Lower House said the national exchequers are being looted in the country under the guise of tax evasion, but no one is asking for them.
Khawaja Asif said the debt of only two institutions was more than Rs1,000 billion and taxes worth billions of rupees are being evaded in a debtor country.
The defence minister said there is no law for rich people in this country and the mafia was protected in the last four years of the previous government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
He said that there are officers sitting in the sick departments who are earning 3.5 million rupees monthly while a robbery is being done in the name of tax evasion.
Defence Minister Khawaja Asif said mafias are also sitting in educational institutions that are earning billions of rupees and the Vice-Chancellors have become billionaires.
He said every institution in the country is affected by rust or termites. Despite such circumstances, Ishaq Dar tried to present a good budget, the defence minister concluded.
