As many as 40 standing committees of the National Assembly were formed on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In this regard, a circular about the formation of the standing committees of the National Assembly has been released by the National Assembly Secretariat.
According to the circular, Standing Committee on Aviation consists of 19 members while Cabinet Secretariat committee includes 18 members.
Moreover, Standing Committee on Climate Change includes 19 members while 20 National Assembly members included in Standing Committee on Trade.
Further, the Public Accounts Committee will consist of 21 Members of Parliament and Federal Finance Minister.
The Public Accounts Committee will include 7 members from PML-N and 6 members from Sunni Ittehad Council, text of circular said.
Besides committees on Communication, Trade, Climate Change, Defence and Energy, committees on Finance, Foreign Affairs, Human Rights and Information are included.
