The joint meeting of government-allied parties, Pakistan Muslim League (PML-Q), Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P), and Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) was held at the residence of PML-Q supremo Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain in Islamabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
As per the sources, in the joint meeting, the discussion was done to make a joint strategy over the no-confidence motion.
The delegation of MQM-P included Aamir Khan, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Aminul Haq, Wasim Akhtar, and Khawaja Izhar.
While, the delegation of PML-Q included Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, Speaker Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Parvez Elahi, Moonis Elahi, Chaudhry Tariq Bashir Cheema, Chaudhry Hussain Elahi.
GDA leader Ghouse Bakhsh Mehr also attended the joint meeting.
Earlier, PTI leader Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind also visited the Chaudhry Brothers residence and held a special meeting with former premier Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Punjab Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Parvez Elahi.
Yar Muhammad Rind presented a bouquet to Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and discussed the current political situation in Balochistan. Chaudhry Salik Hussain, Chaudhry Hussain Elahi, Provincial Minister Hafiz Ammar Yasir were also present on this occasion.
