Prime Minister Imran Khan reached Parliament Lodges in Islamabad to woo his allies against the Opposition’s No-Confidence Motion on Monday evening.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, PM Imran calls on Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) Parliamentary Leader in National Assembly Khalid Magsi.
The PM was accompanied by his close aides and federal ministers Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Asad Umar.
The sources said that the meeting between PM Imran and BAP Leader Khalid Magsi discussed the no-confidence motion issue and the standing of the allied parties.
The sources also claimed that the BAP has not yet decided whether to support the government or the opposition.
The inside story of the meeting between Prime Minister Imran Khan and BAP leaders revealed that the Premier is advised not to go for confrontation with opposition on the issue of the no-confidence motion.
The BAP leaders informed the Prime Minister of their concerns and complained that the federal government's promises to them have not been fulfilled in the last three years.
The sources said BAP parliamentary leader Khalid Magsi told the PM that no-confidence motion is a part of a democratic process so it should be treated in the same way.
Khalid Magsi also informs the PM that the consultation process of his party—the BAP—is going on and it will decide soon.
