Islamabad High Court has approved PTI leader and former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry’s protective bail, barring the police from arresting him, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
IHC Chief Justice Amer Farooq issued the orders granting 14-day protective bail to Fawad Chaudhry who wanted to appear in a court in Lahore but wanted to avoid arrest.
The court also ordered Fawad Chaudhry to submit surety bond of Rs20,000.
Advocate Ali Bukhari represented Fawad Chaudhry in the court.
Fawad Chaudhry earlier on Tuesday filed the application seeking protective bail. He also urged early hearing of his plea which was accepted.
