The Pakistan Super League’s ninth season is reaching its climax as the Multan Sultans are set to battle Peshawar Zalmi in the first Qualifier match on March 14 at Karachi’s National Bank Cricket Arena, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The winner of this encounter will secure a spot in the PSL 9 final.
Multan Sultans have demonstrated their dominance throughout the season, being the first team to qualify for the playoffs with seven victories in ten matches.
Their impressive form was on full display in their last league match against the Quetta Gladiators, where they emerged victorious.
Peshawar Zalmi, not far behind, clinched their playoff berth with six wins.
The team has shown consistent performance, setting the stage for an exciting Qualifier against the Sultans.
The much-anticipated Qualifier 1 will see the toss at 8:30 pm (PST), followed by the match start at 9:00 pm (PST) at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi.
The vwinner of this match will advance directly to the final scheduled for March 18.
The runner-up will still have a chance to make it to the final by winning Eliminator 2, which will be held on March 16.
