Showbiz figures call out alarming shutdown of cinema houses in country

The Pakistan cinema Industry has once again faced a major crisis with the shutting down of more than 46 cinema houses due to the lack of ticket sales. Showbiz figures including actor Ahmed Ali Butt has raised concern over the matter and demanded government to revive their policies by allowing screening of Bollywood and Lollywood films in cinemas.
It is important to mention that Pakistan has placed restrictions on Indian films screening in the country after a ban was imposed by the Indian Motion Pictures Producers Association (IMPPA) on Pakistani actors and technicians from working in the Bollywood movies.
Currently, after the shocking disclosure of cinema houses, stars have submitted their concerns. Actor Ahmed Ali Butt took to his social media handle and urged for Bollywood and Hollywood movies to sustain cinema houses.
He wrote: “Our cinemas need films. Hollywood, Bollywood, Kollywood, and Lollywood or what so ever. We can’t tolerate closing cinemas anymore.”
Popular producer and writer Abu Aleeha also reacted to the same and demanded a Bollywood movie. He also shared meaningful suggestions to boost up cinema houses.
