Man kills woman in Hafizabad for turning down friendship request

A man shot a woman dead in Sindhwan Tarar area of Hafizabad after the latter refused to develop ‘illicit’ relations with him, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
As per the FIR registered on the complaint of the woman’s husband, Gul Sher used to harass his wife on mobile phone. “Gul Sher wanted to have illicit relations with my wife,” the complainant alleged.
He went on to say that when his wife told him about that, he forbade the suspect, which enraged him. “Then the suspect stormed my home and shot my wife dead,” read the FIR.
The husband caught the killer along with his accomplices and handed over the police.
Youth shot dead in Jhelum
Meanwhile, a 30-year-old youth was killed by unknown persons in Aling suburb of Jhelum.
According to police the accused targeted and shot the deceased Irfan and escaped from the crime scene.
The police have taken the body into custody and shifted to Civil Hospital for post-mortem.
Police said that Irfan got married five days ago. The murder of 30-year-old Irfan seems to be a sign of long-standing enmity, police said.
Police further said that evidence is being collected from the crime scene and accused will be arrested soon after registering a case
