Pakistan Muslim League-Q central leader Senator Kamil Ali Agha has taken a swipe at former premier Nawaz Sharif for, what he called, looting public money and fleeing to London.
After looting national wealth, Nawaz Sharif was hurling blames at the state organs so that his crime could be covered, the senator said in a public address as part of canvassing for his party candidate.
He listed his party’s feats saying that the party leaders have always fought for better public service delivery. In his previous address, he said the PML-N and the PPP were talking about giving Gilgit-Baltistan the status of the interim province while ex-PM Ch Shujaat Hussain gave GB the status of the legislative assembly and empowered it.
“We made Karakoram University, constructed 7,000km roads for the first time. Our plan was to construct dual carriageway to link Ghazar with new Russian states keeping in view trade purposes. But it could not be accomplished after the PML-Q government’s term.”
He said the PML-Q believed in national harmony. He urged the locals to vote his party candidate so that their problems could be resolved.
