Polling for Independent Khalistan Referendum was continuing in Birmingham, United Kingdom and due to high turnout, the polling officer has extended the time of casting the votes for two hours on Sunday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the people including a good number of women and children also showed a lot of interest in the referendum
Initially, the polling time was fixed from 10 am to 6 pm but due to high turnout, the referendum time had been extended for two hours.
As per the report, thousands of people who belonged to the Sikh community in the UK used their right to vote and cast it for their independent country—Khalistan.
