After the increase in the prices of petroleum (POL) products in Faisalabad, the local transportation fares were increased from Rs20 to reach Rs30 within the city, while transportation fares from Faisalabad to other cities were also raised, reported 24NewsHD TV on Sunday.
Meanwhile, from Faisalabad to Lahore, the transportation fare is increased from Rs200 to reach Rs250. The fare from Faisalabad to Sialkot is reached from Rs350 to reach Rs450.
The fare from Faisalabad to Multan is reached from Rs500 to Rs650. The fare from Faisalabad to Rawalpindi is reached from Rs600 to reach Rs700. The fare from Faisalabad to Sialkot has increased from Rs350 to reach Rs450. The fare from Faisalabad to Jhang has gone up from Rs110 to Rs150.
On the other hand, transporters said that the price of POL products has increased so much that they were forced to raise fares because they have to meet the expenses.
