The federal government has allowed the appointment of 997 civilian staff in the Pakistan Army and Punjab Rangers, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Monday.
NOCs for recruitment have been issued from the surplus pool of the Establishment Division, the sources said.
According to the office memorandum issued by the Pak Army, as many as 201 civilian staff will be inducted into the Army. These recruitments will be made on the vacant posts of (BPS-01 to BPS-15) while 776 slots for recruitment have been allowed in Punjab Rangers.
NOCs of the establishment division for recruitment will be effective for 6 months.
It is pertinent that obtaining a prior NOC from Establishment Division is mandatory before making a specified kind of recruitment.
