Fire breaks out at Sindh University

A fire broke out in the University of Sindh faculty building on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The fire erupted in Sheikh Ayaz Auditorium located in the art department of the University

According to details, the facility burst into flames due to a short-circuit but was extinguished by the university staff on time, so they were safe from any harm.

According to the University of Sindh spokesperson, the inner roof of the auditorium has been damaged due to the fire; however, no casualties were reported, he claimed.

There was no loss of life as the people trapped inside the building were rescued on time, he added.
