For the first time in history, the Champions Trophy’s tour is set to start without announcing the schedule of the trophy tour as International Cricket Council (ICC) has shifted the Champions Trophy from Dubai to Islamabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. According to the ICC, the Champions Trophy tour is scheduled to start from November 16. ICC announces the schedule four months before the start of the tournament. After Skardu, the Champions Trophy will be taken to K2 base camp. The trophy tour will also cover the cities where Champions Trophy matches are to be held. The Men's T20 World Cup 2024 schedule was announced 4 months ago in January and Men's ODI World Cup 2023 schedule was announced 3 months ago in June.
The ICC Champions Trophy is scheduled from February 19 to March 9 in Pakistan. ICC was to announce the Champions Trophy schedule on November 11 in Lahore.
All India's matches in the Champions Trophy 2024 were to be held in Lahore. The trophy tour, which will continue till November 24, will start from Skardu.
