Four people, including a woman, lost their lives in two separate road accidents in the Gujranwala and Kallar Kahar areas of Punjab, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported on Thursday.
In Gujranwala, near Sialkoti Gate, a speeding truck struck a motorcycle, killing two riders, including a woman.
Rescue sources identified one of the deceased as Gulzar Ali, while the identity of the woman is still unknown.
Police took possession of the bodies for a postmortem and seized the truck, though the driver fled the scene.
In a separate incident near Kallar Kahar, a vehicle collided with a trawler from behind, resulting in two fatalities and one injury.
Motorway Police promptly arrived on the scene, transporting the deceased and injured to the Kallar Kahar Trauma Centre.
According to a Motorway Police spokesperson, initial reports suggest the accident was caused by driver negligence.
