The Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang will reach Pakistan tomorrow on a four-day official visit at the invitation of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
According to Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, Chinese State Council Premier Li Qiang is visiting Pakistan at the invitation of the Prime Minister of Pakistan.
Foreign Office Spokesman Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said that Li Qiang is making a bilateral visit to Pakistan from October 14 to 17.
Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and Prime Minister Li Qiang will lead their respective delegations, the Foreign Office spokesperson said.
They will comprehensively discuss all aspects of Pakistan-China relations, including economic and trade relations and cooperation under CPEC, and will also discuss regional and global developments, Foreign Office spokesperson said.
The Chinese Prime Minister will also meet President Asif Ali Zardari, the Spokesperson of the Foreign Office said.
He will meet the parliamentary leaders and Pakistan's top military leadership, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said.
The Chinese Prime Minister will also participate in the meeting of the Council of the Heads of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation held in Islamabad, the spokesperson of the Foreign Office said.
Prime Minister Li Qiang's visit to Islamabad is an expression that Pakistan and China attach importance to their "all-weather strategic cooperative partnership," Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said.
The spokesperson said that there will be an opportunity to renew cooperation on issues of primary interest for the parties.
These issues include progress in the development of high-quality CPEC, and strengthening regular exchanges on important regional and global developments, the spokesperson of the Foreign Office said.
