Maid kills four-year child in Quetta during stealing attempt

Quetta police are hunting a maid over alleged murder of a four-year old child.

According to details, the said maid was working in a house at Samungli Road, Lehri Gate are of Quetta where she allegedly killed the four-year child while attempting to steal the ornaments from the house.

The family of the child alleged that the unfortunate child witnessed the maid stealing the gold ornaments and to cover up her act she first strangulated the child and then drowned him into the water.

The police have registered an FIR and are searching for the maid allegedly involved in the brutal act. However, the police said they could further comment on the incident only after the post-mortem report.

A neighbor of the unfortunate family, Muhammad Khan Imrani said the child’s mother and maternal uncle were present at the house when the incident happened.

He said when the neighbours rushed to the house after listening cries and shouts the found the dead body of the child that was soaked in the water. According to him, when they reached hospital, the doctor said the kid was strangulated to death.
