Pakistan Army rescued the policemen whose boat had capsized while travelling from Sehwan to Bhan Syedabad for rescuing the people stranded there, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

According to the police sources, at least 13 policemen were on board the boat when it capsized due to a hole in it.

On information, the soldiers of the Pakistan Army swung into action as they quickly covered the 10-mile distance and rescued the policemen from drowning.

The belongings of the policemen and the boat were also fished out safely from the water.

Also, the Pakistan Army rescued a sick child and 12 more people including women and children in Wahar village.

The army rescued them after patrolling 45km of flooded area from Aral Head to Sehwan. Apart from the rescue operation, clean drinking water was also provided to the people living there in Wahar and Ganbhir villages.
