Mansha Bomb was arrested on the directions of Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi on land-grabbing allegations, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
Lahore police retrieved land worth billions of rupees during a joint operation with the Lahore Development Authority (LDA).
The chief minister listened to the public complaints during a visit to the LDA One Window Cell.
He ordered Lahore Commissioner Muhammad Ali Randhawa, Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Bilal Siddique Kamyana and LDA authorities to take action against the land mafia and retrieve properties of the people.
The police arrested Mansha Bomb within three hours and retrieved 75-Kanal commercial land along PIA Road in Johar Town.
The land mafia had constructed shops and other encroachments on the occupied land.
The citizens, in their complaints to the chief minister, said that Mansha Bomb had grabbed their lands.
They demanded that the chief minister order the retrieval of their lands, adding that they had become helpless.
With the arrest of Mansha Bomb, the chief minister gave a stern warning to the land mafia that no one would be allowed to grab people’s lands.
