Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar directed caretaker Minister for Privatization Fawad Hasan Fawad to expedite the privatization process of the Pakistan International Airline (PIA).

According to the 24News HD TV channel, PM Anwaarul Haq Kakar presided over the meeting related to Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) on Thursday.

In the meeting, the Prime Minister was informed about the privatization of PIA and other matters.

The Prime Minister directed the concerned authorities to speed up the process of privatization of the PIA as it is inevitable to provide international standard air travel to the customers.

The Prime Minister extended a warm welcome to Fawad Hasan Fawad, a member of his team, and entrusted him with the task of overseeing the rapid privatization of PIA under the supervision of the Ministry of Privatization as soon as possible.
