Stray bullet kills little school-going girl in Karachi

A bullet fired from an unknown direction killed a little girl while she going to school in North Nazimabad Timuriya area of Karachi on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

In the statement given to police, the girl's parents said that they heard the sound of the car window breaking, then they saw that the girl was shot in the head and when they looked around they saw two people running away.

However, the family of deceased seven-year-old Maryam refused to take any legal action.

According to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Central Faisal Abdullah, further investigation is being conducted regarding the incident.
