A case has been registered against the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder over instigation against the government and state institutions on X, sources said on Friday.
The insiders added that a four-member team arrived at Adiala Jail to grill him in the evening.
They maintained that the deputy superintendent summoned the PTI founder but refused to cooperate on the pretext of consulting lawyers. The team will revisit him on Saturday, the sources said.
The case no is 1138/24, the sources said, adding that the team will also interrogate the founder PTI regarding the messages of sedition and the accomplices involved in the act.
