Bollywood star Sonakshi Sinha who is in complete bliss after marrying her man of dreams, Zaheer Iqbal, has expressed huge solace and gratification for not being forced to cook for husband by in-laws and called herself 'blessed' for this facility. How could she not be, after all, she is a working woman combating multiple challenges on her professional front, as well as, her daily routine, and it’s a big relief for her!
Recently, Sonakshi Sinha attended a promotional event for a travel company in the city with her husband, Zaheer Iqbal. During the event, they discussed their preferences and food travel destinations. Sonakshi revealed nowadays there is no pressure on women to learn cooking because everyone understands they have work and home life. She shared that cooking is also about interest, and she wasn't pressured to cook before or after marriage. She was quoted as saying: “ "In today's time, there is no such pressure on women (to cook) because everyone knows women have their work lives and their home lives as well. It is also a matter of interest. I'm truly blessed that I don't have that pressure (of cooking)."
Sonakshi added that if she ever goes ahead and learns to cook, it will be due to her personal choice and not any pressure. During the event, Sonakshi and Zaheer were tasked with cooking together and had a lot of fun. At the same time, the actress added that she enjoyed cooking with her husband and would love to learn it in future.

At the same event, when Sonakshi tried her hand at cooking with husband, Zaheer Iqbal, she shared that it was the first time she attempted to cook anything. The actress mentioned that her mother would be happy because she is a great cook. Also, Sonakshi said that her mother, Poonam Sinha, thought she would become a good chef after her marriage to Zaheer Iqbal and is still waiting. In her words: "The happiest person today would be my mom. She's a fantastic cook. She thought her daughter would become a good chef which never happened. She thought I might become a good chef when I get married. She's still waiting (for that to happen). I was under a lot of pressure, but I think I did quite well… I enjoyed myself. I would love to learn (cooking) a lot more in the future."
