Hindu girl becomes DSP in Sindh Police

A woman, belonging to the Hindu community, has made history by becoming a DSP in the Sindh Police, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
Maneesha Ropeta, who belongs to Jacobabad’s Imam Street, had passed Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC) exam in 2019.
Talking to 24News, Ropeta said she had shifted to Karachi a few years back to do her doctorate in Physiotherapy.
She further said that after having done her doctorate in Physiotherapy in 2018, she began making preparations for getting a job in police department.
She told that she submitted the form of Sindh Public Service Commission in 2019, and became a DSP after passing the exams.
Ropeta said she was the youngest of all six sisters. She said she did not give up despite facing hardships after the death of her father.
She was of the view that a person, if worked hard, could achieve anything.
