The Punjab Cabinet expressed on Saturday satisfaction with free flour distribution across the province, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel. 

The 13th meeting of the provincial cabinet chaired by Punjab Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi also approved the release of funds for the expenses of the Kacha operation. 

Punjab IG Dr. Usman Anwar briefed the cabinet about the ongoing operation in Kacha area of Rahim Yar Khan. 

The Cabinet's expressed its determination to bring the ongoing operation in the Kacha area to a logical end. 

 The meeting was told that infrastructure will be constructed under a sustainable plan after the operation against terrorists in the Kacha area. 

 The cabinet expressed satisfaction over the historic free flour package of the Prime Minister and the Punjab government. 

Mohsen Naqvi said that deserving people were given free flour under this package. 

The Punjab CM said that the Provincial Ministers, Chief Secretary, Inspector General Police, Secretaries, and Punjab Information Technology Board worked day and night for making the free flour package successful. 

Mohsen Naqvi lauded their efforts and said the entire machinery delivered as teamwork. 

 In the meeting, the performance of the staff of RPOs, Commissioners, CPOs, Deputy Commissioners, DPOs, and other departments was also appreciated.

Mohsin Naqvi ordered all necessary administrative measures to stop sugar smuggling and stabilize prices. 

He directed the authorities to initiate strict monitoring of the exit routes of Punjab. “Sugar prices should be monitored on a daily basis.”

The Cabinet approved entering into an agreement with the Government of Gilgit-Baltistan regarding cooperation in the computerization of land records

Punjab Cabinet also accorded approval to a new scheme of Children's Hospital in the Annual Development Program 2022-23.

He also issued directives to take necessary administrative measures to stop sugar smuggling.

 Provincial Adviser Sports Wahab Riaz gave a briefing about the sports competition under the Ramadan Sports Series. 

He briefed the cabinet that all the tournaments under the Ramadan Sports Series were sponsored. The Cabinet appreciated the performance of Wahab Riaz and his team. 

The Cabinet was informed regarding the holding of sports competitions at the tehsil, district, division, and provincial levels. 

He said that CM Naqvi is trying to provide more opportunities for sports activities to the youth.

In response, Punjab CM said that various sports competitions will be organized from the tehsil level to the provincial level. 

The cabinet gave approval allotment of land for the establishment of an advanced pediatric radiotherapy unit at Children's Hospital and the University of Child Health Sciences Lahore.

It also gave its approval to change the names of district headquarters hospitals managed by the Department of Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education.

 The names of the district headquarters teaching hospitals of Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Dera Ghazi Khan, and Faisalabad will be changed.

The name of Government Ghulam Muhammadabad Hospital Faisalabad will also be changed

A nod was given for the establishment of a special fund for the welfare of Civil Secretariat employees. 

The meeting approved to conduct of a feasibility study and master planning of the Medical and Surgical Tower in Sandeman Provincial Hospital (Children) from Infrastructure Development Authority Punjab.

In the meeting, a prayer was offered for the SHO who was martyred in Kashmore during the Kacha operation.
