Fast bowler Ihsanullah has left Pakistan for the UK for further medical treatment as he rehabilitates from a long-term elbow injury, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
According to PCB, Ihsanullah departed for Manchester, England, early on Sunday to make the critical medical consultation on Monday with renowned orthopedic surgeon Professor Adam Watts to discuss his elbow issue.
Professor Watts is an expert in sports injuries, trauma surgery, shoulder and elbow treatments, and hand and wrist surgery.
Multan Sultans, the team Ihsanullah associated with, worked with the PCB to get this appointment.
The PCB will pay for Ihsanullah's medical care and rehabilitation costs in its capacity as his parent organization.
“Further updates will be provided by the PCB following Professor Watts' assessment and diagnosis.”
The 21-year-old Ihsanullah has only played five international matches for Pakistan, his most recent appearance was against New Zealand in April 2023.
