Former District Nazim Kohat has been gunned down by unknown armed assailants and escaped from the site, reported 24NewsHDTV Channel.
According to rescue sources, Malik Assad was targeted in Kohat’s Gandialai area on Tuesday. As a result of firing, former district Nazim died on the spot while his friend got injured.
Former Nazim Malik Assad was the brother of Additional IG Malik Saad Shaheed.
Heavy police contingent reached the spot to probe the incident.
