The three-nation Baba Guru Nanak International Kabaddi Cup is set to kick off tomorrow in Lahore with the arrival of the Indian Tigers Kabaddi Team, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
The Indian team, representing the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC), reached Lahore via the Wagah Border, where they were warmly welcomed by officials of the Pakistan Kabaddi Federation.
According to tournament organisers, the prestigious Baba Guru Nanak Kabaddi Cup will officially begin tomorrow at the WAPDA Sports Complex in Lahore.
The Iranian team had already arrived in Lahore a day earlier to take part in the tournament, which aims to promote cross-border sportsmanship and cultural harmony.
The international event is expected to draw kabaddi fans from across the country as teams from Pakistan, India, and Iran face off in a show of strength, skill, and traditional South Asian sport.
