PIA flight from Kabul safely lands in Islamabad

Pakistan International Airline (PIA) flight from Kabul with 329 passengers safely landed in Islamabad on Sunday.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, as many as 329 passengers reached Islamabad via PIA flight number PK-6250.
The PIA has launched special flights operation to lift Pakistani nationals and foreigners who were stranded in Afghanistan from the Hamid Karzai International Airport Kabul.
The PIA would operate Boing 777 and for this PIA has sought permission from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) as well.
PIA would also operate flights for Kabul airport on August 17 and 18.
Officials familiar with the situation say PIA has continued its flight operation with Afghanistan with Airbus 320.
PIA CEO said, “PIA is living up to its legacy and commitment and is in touch with Pakistan’s ambassador to Afghanistan and Pakistan Embassy.”
Pakistan suspends PCR test condition for passengers from Afghanistan
Pakistan suspended the condition of PCR test for passengers of PIA from Afghanistan and allowed them to get the coronavirus detection tests at Pakistani airports.
Following the government decision, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has said the passengers could travel without their negative test reports from Afghanistan till Wednesday, August 18.
