Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif paid a surprise visit to Central Business District (CBD) Walton Project to view progress on the project, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister inspected Road 47 from Kalma Chowk to Walton. She also reviewed the construction of Walton road drain project.
During the visits, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz directed the concerned authorities to ensure the timely completion of the project without compromise on the quality of work.
She urged the concerned officials that steps should be taken to provide maximum relief to the people of the area. The CM said government was aware of the hurdles being faced by the resident of the area.
On the instructions of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the three-line carriage of Walton Road will be opened for traffic in September. The development work continued day and night for the completion of dual way carriage Walton Road project by October 2024.
