PML-N leader and former Punjab chief minister Hamza Shehbaz on Thursday skipped appearance in an accountability court in Lahore in connection with money laundering case, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Hamza’s lawyer submitted an application in the court seeking exemption from appearance which was promptly accepted by the presiding judge.
The lawyer cited that Hamza Shehbaz’s daughter is a heart patient, therefore, he had to travel to London for the treatment of his daughter.
The lawyer further stated that Hamza Shehbaz’s permanent attendance waiver is also pending before the court. “There is no objection to Hamza Shehbaz’s permanent attendance waiver,” stated the judge.
It merits here to mention that the court has exempted Hamza Shehbaz from permanent appearance.
Moreover, other co-accused appeared before the court and marked their attendance.
