The authorities have increased the prices of essential food items, adding to public problems.
According to 24NewsHD TV channel, the district administration released the new rate list for the month of December and January.
The prices of rice, gram, besan and pulses went up. Rice Basmati will be sold at Rs255 per kg with an increase of Rs10 per kg while with an increase of Rs5 per kg, the price of pulses and chickpeas increased to Rs205 per kg
The rate of gram increased by Rs10 per kg. Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali issued the notification.
