As the temperature dips down, prices at Landa Bazaar of the Haji Camp in Lahore go up, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Thursday.
Shoppers complained the people dealing in used and secondhand stuff are cashing in on the situation.
The prices of warm clothes including gloves, socks, jackets, scarves and caps have skyrocketed and motorcycle riders seemingly cannot afford them anymore.
Gloves were reported to be sold at Rs600, socks and scarves at Rs200 and Rs300 respectively while caps were being sold at Rs400.
The buyers said that the prices of the clothes have been increased by three times and the management should control the prices.
The shopkeepers said that they have to sell the clothes at increased prices as they get the stock at a higher price than before. The buyers cannot buy anything which harms their business.
