The much-anticipated Champions Donkey Cart Race in Karachi concluded with an exciting finish as "Sartaj," a donkey owned by Arif from Liaquatabad, emerged victorious, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
Several donkey carts participated in the race which drew significant attention from locals. Donkey cart races have been a staple in the cultural landscape of various regions in Pakistan, particularly in rural areas where they are often featured as part of local festivals or special events.

The second position was secured by "Chitta Ustad," while Nadeem clinched the third spot.
The winner, Arif, was awarded a cash prize of Rs. 100,000 along with a trophy. The runner-up received Rs. 50,000, and the third-place winner took home Rs. 30,000.
Additionally, all participating racers were given Rs. 3,000 each as a token of appreciation for their involvement in this vibrant event that highlighted a unique cultural tradition of Karachi.
Speaking to reporters after his victory, Arif expressed his gratitude and revealed his plans for the prize money.
"I will spend the prize money on my mother's medical treatment," he shared, earning admiration for his heartfelt intentions.
