After Darren Sammy, English all-rounder Liam Dawson has also joined the Peshawar Zalmi squad in Karachi.

Liam Dawson said that he is happy to be a part of Peshawar Zalmi for the third consecutive year.

“Being related to Peshawar Zalmi and playing for this team has always been a wonderful experience for me. Zalmi is such a franchise where there is no pressure of Coaches or Owners on the players and for this reason, I have enjoyed my tenure with this team. This season we will give our best to bring the title home.”

Team Peshawar Zalmi's preparations for the HBL Pakistan Super League season five are in full swing. The team practiced for the second consecutive day in National Stadium in Karachi. Following a warm-up and football session, the players, under the supervision of head coach Mohammed Akram, practiced targeted matches at the National Stadium Karachi's Practice Area Ground, in which the batsmen and bowlers practiced the pursuit of goals that would be helpful in the matches.

After a targeted match practice, the squad participated in a half-hour fielding session. Peshawar Zalmi will practice at National Karachi on Sunday from 1 to 4 pm.
