The Pakistani rupee is being buffeted by the US dollar as the greenback is slowly picking up its pace against the Pakistani currency, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to the market rates, the US dollar gained 31 paisas against the rupee on Tuesday and was being traded for Rs175.78 in interbank trading.
Yesterday, the dollar was closed at Rs175.47.
Economic experts believe that the rupee is under pressure over rising import bill and foreign debt repayments.
