Describing dialogues between the government and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) as a significant step toward easing the current political crisis, MNA Farooq Sattar urged all parties to ensure the negotiations remain on track.
"The start of negotiations is a big relief to end the political tension. We should not let the talks go off track under any circumstances," Sattar emphasized while talking to the media personnel.
He said PTI committee members have been invited to meet with the party founder and a potential breakthrough in the dialogue process will made if the PTI presents its demands in writing.
“If the PTI presents its demands in writing, the talks will progress. All the stakeholders should show sincerity,” he maintained adding that an end should be put on blame games.
"Everyone has made mistakes, but now is the time to take corrective steps for improvement," he added.
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and the government have initiated dialogue to address longstanding political and governance issues that have fueled tensions in the country.
This development comes after months of political deadlock and protests by the PTI, which have disrupted governance and created economic instability.
PTI has accused the government of failing to address public grievances, while the government has criticized PTI for adopting a confrontational approach.
The negotiations' backdrop includes significant economic challenges, such as soaring inflation, declining foreign reserves, and public discontent. Both sides face pressure to demonstrate leadership and resolve the impasse for the sake of national stability.
