The price of 24 karat per tola gold in Pakistan increased by Rs 2,900 and was sold at Rs 280,800 against its sale at Rs 277,900 on the previous trading day, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
According to All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold also increased by Rs.2,487 to Rs.240,741 from Rs 238,254 whereas that of 10 gram 22 karat also went up to Rs.220,679 from Rs 218,400.
The prices of per tola and ten-gram silver remained constant at Rs3,350 and Rs.2,872.08 respectively.
The price of gold in the international market decreased by $29 to $2,690 from $2,661, the Association reported.
Earlier, the price of 24 karat per tola gold saw another dip of Rs 1,400 and was sold at Rs 277,900 against its sale at Rs 279,300 on the previous trading day.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also decreased by Rs 1,201 to Rs 238,254 from Rs 239,455.
The price of gold in the international market decreased by $14 to $2,661 from $2,675, the Association reported.
