Punjab ministers visit Gaddafi Stadium ahead of Champions Trophy

As preparations for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 gain momentum, Punjab’s provincial ministers visited the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore to review ongoing upgradation work, reported 24News HD TV channel on Wednesday. 

Provincial Minister for Primary Health Khawaja Imran Nazir, Special Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique, and Provincial Minister Ashiq Kirmani were included in the delegation that inspected the site. The secretaries from various government departments also accompanied the ministers. 

The visitors were briefed by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief operating officer Sameer Ahmed Syed, who provided a detailed overview of the development projects. He highlighted the new facilities being established for cricket fans, including upgraded enclosures and enhanced amenities to improve their match-day experience.

The ministers inspected the newly constructed enclosures, evaluating the ground view and layout. They expressed satisfaction with the pace and quality of the development work. 

The ministers commended the PCB and relevant authorities for their dedication and progress in preparing the venue.
